Intended Use

The Healing Abutment for Implant Conical CH 2.1 intended for temporary placement on dental implants to:

- Protect the internal implant connection
- Support formation of the gingival cuff
- Promote proper soft tissue healing prior to prosthetic restoration

Indications

Use with implants featuring conical internal connection CH 2.1

Suitable for:

- One-stage implantation (immediate placement after implant insertion)
- Two-stage implantation (placement after implant uncovering)

Contraindications

- Do not use in patients with known hypersensitivity to titanium
- Not intended for permanent prosthetic restoration

Preparation Before Use

- Product is supplied non-sterile
- Sterilize before use in an autoclave at: 135°C (274°F)
- Inspect the abutment for damage or contamination prior to use

Clinical Procedure

- Ensure the implant is properly placed and stable
- Select appropriate abutment height based on gingival thickness
- Clean and dry the implant connection
- Insert the healing abutment into the implant
- Tighten using a 1.25 mm hex key to secure the abutment
- Verify proper seating and soft tissue adaptation

Post-Placement Care

- Monitor soft tissue healing around the abutment
- Maintain proper oral hygiene
- Follow standard clinical protocols for healing period

Removal

- After soft tissue healing, remove the healing abutment using a 1.25 mm hex key
- Proceed with placement of the final prosthetic component
