Product Description:

Closed lock Transfer H2.43 for closed tray (901545) - The transfer consists of two parts - a cylindrical sleeve and a fastening screw. The diameter is 4.5 mm, the height is 13 mm. Made of stainless steel. The sleeve is a supragingival structure and has a 2.43 mm hexagon on the end part. The transfer sleeve enters the implant like a closing lock. The transfer sleeve is connected directly to the implant with a fastening screw (711112). Used in conjunction with a 1.27 mm Allen key (431412, etc.). Used to take impressions with a closed spoon from osseointegrated implants: UNIQUE 3.75 mm, 4.2 mm, 5.0 mm; 6.0 mm, PERFECT 4.2 mm, 5.0 mm; 6.0 mm, PRIMA 3.3 mm; 3.75 mmd; 4.2 mmd; 5.0 mm; 6.0 mm and from any other osseointegrated implants with an internal connection H2.43.

Warnings:

The transfer is intended for single use. Autoclave sterilization at 135 °C to 274 °F is recommended before use. The dentist/maxillofacial surgeon should be properly familiar with the technology of using the transfer.

Indications:

The impression transfer is a device used by implantologists to accurately transfer the position of an osseointegrated implant from the oral cavity to a plaster model using the closed tray impression method.

Contraindications:

1. Lack of osseointegration of the dental implant;

2. Allergy to metals;

3. Trismus of the masticatory muscles,

4. Poor mouth opening

5. Increased gag reflex

Procedure for use:

A closed impression allows for a more accurate “transfer” of the implant site from the oral cavity to the model. This method consists of several stages:

- the gingiva former is unscrewed using a 1.27 mm Allen key;

- the transfer (901545) is installed in the internal hexagon of the implant;

- the screw (711112) passes through the hollow opening of the transfer and fixes the transfer in the internal thread of the implant using a 1.27 mm Allen key;

- the outer opening of the transfer is covered with wax to prevent the impression material from getting into it;

- the impression is obtained using the “sandwich” method (two-layer impression). Both layers of the impression material (inner with low viscosity and outer with high viscosity) are introduced into the oral cavity simultaneously. It is also possible to use one of the medium viscosity materials;

- after the impression mass has hardened, the impression is removed from the oral cavity;

- using a 1.27 mm Allen key, unscrew the screw (711112) from the implant and remove the transfer from the implant;

- the laboratory analogue for implant internal Hex 2.43 is connected to the transfer - a part simulating the intraosseous part of the implant (920038, etc.) and the result is a "transfer + analogue" structure.

- the transfer + analogue are precisely inserted into the resulting cell in the impression (the analogue must be connected to the transfer);

- the impression is handed over to the dental technician;

- the dental technician creates an imitation of the gum with elastic plastic in the area of the implants, casts the impression with super plaster, then separates the impression from the plaster model;

The dental technician separates the transfer from the laboratory analogue, which is in plaster (as a result, the analogue representing the implant is inside the model, and around it - imitation gum).

- the resulting model is used in the dental laboratory to manufacture prosthetics on an osseointegrated implant.
