Product Description:

Open lock Transfer H2.1 for open tray (901735) - The transfer consists of two parts - a cylindrical sleeve and a fastening screw. Diameter is 3.8 mm, height is 13 mm. Made of stainless steel. The sleeve is a supragingival structure and has a 2.1 mm hexagon on the end part. The transfer sleeve enters the implant like a closing lock. The transfer sleeve is connected directly to the implant with a fastening screw (712012). Used in conjunction with a 1.27 mm Allen key (431412, etc.). Used to take impressions with a open spoon from osseointegrated implants: UNIQUE 3.0 mm, 3.3 mm; PERFECT 3.75.

Warnings:

The transfer is intended for single use. The medical product in the package is not sterile. Autoclave sterilization at 135 °C / 274 °F is recommended before use. The dentist/maxillofacial surgeon/ dental technician should be properly familiar with the technology of using the transfer.

Indications:

The impression transfer is a device used by implantologists to accurately transfer the position of an osseointegrated implant from the oral cavity to a plaster model using the open tray impression method.

Contraindications

Procedure for use:

An open-tray impression using an implant transfer allows for a more accurate “transfer” of the implantation site from the oral cavity to the model, compared to a closed-tray impression. This method consists of several stages:

- the gingiva former is unscrewed using a 1.27 mm Allen key;

- the transfer (901735) is installed in the internal hexagon of the implant;

- the screw (712012) passes through the hollow opening of the transfer and fixes the transfer in the internal thread of the implant using a 1.27 mm Allen key;

- the outer opening of the screw (712012), where the Allen key was inserted, is covered with wax to prevent impression material from getting into it;

- the impression tray must have an opening on the occlusal surface to access the fixing screw (712012) of the transfer;

- the impression is obtained using the “sandwich” method (two-layer impression). Both layers of the impression material (inner with low viscosity and outer with high viscosity) are introduced into the oral cavity simultaneously. It is also possible to use one material of medium viscosity;

- remove excess impression material from the occlusal surface to provide access to the fixing screw of the transfer (712012);

- after the impression mass has hardened, unscrew the screw (712012) from the implant and remove it from the impression and transfer using a 1.27 mm Allen key,

- remove the impression together with the transfer from the oral cavity (the transfer is inside the impression);

- a laboratory analogue of the implant H2.1 is attached to the transfer using a screw (712012) - a part simulating the endosseous part of the implant (920035) and the result is a structure "impression + transfer + analogue".

- the impression is handed over to the dental technician;

- the dental technician creates an imitation of the gum with elastic plastic in the area of ​​the implant analogues, casts the impression with super plaster,

- then the screw (712012) is unscrewed from the analogue;

- the dental technician separates the impression + transfer from the laboratory analogue, which is in plaster (as a result, an analogue representing the implant appears inside the model, and around it - imitation of the gum).

- the resulting model is used in the dental laboratory to manufacture a prosthesis on an osseointegrated implant.
