Product Description

The Closed Clip Transfer Wide for Implant Internal Hex 2.43 is intended for closed tray impression procedures and is fixed directly into the internal implant connection without the use of a fixation screw. Retention is achieved by an integrated clip mechanism located on the transfer.

The transfer consists of:

- Cylindrical transfer body
- 2.43 mm internal hex connection
- Retention clip

The transfer hex engages the implant connection with precise positioning, while the clip secures the transfer within the implant through retention.

Warnings

- The product is intended for single use only.
- The product is supplied non-sterile.
- Sterilization in an autoclave at 135°C / 274°F before clinical use is recommended.

Indications

The impression transfer is intended for use in implant prosthetics to accurately transfer the position of an osseointegrated implant from the oral cavity to a laboratory model using the closed tray impression technique.

Contraindications

- Lack of implant osseointegration
- Allergy or hypersensitivity to metals
- Trismus of masticatory muscles
- Limited mouth opening
- Increased gag reflex

Procedure for Use

The closed tray impression technique allows accurate transfer of the implant position from the oral cavity to the working model.

Clinical Procedure

1. Remove the healing abutment or gingiva former using a 1.27 mm hex driver.
2. Insert the Closed Clip Transfer Wide H2.43 into the implant internal hex connection using vertical pressure.
3. The integrated clip mechanism engages the implant connection and secures the transfer through retention.
4. Take the impression using the closed tray “sandwich” technique:
   - Low-viscosity material around the transfer
   - High-viscosity material in the tray
   - Medium-viscosity material may also be used when clinically appropriate.
5. After complete polymerization of the impression material, remove the impression from the oral cavity together with the transfer.
6. Attach the corresponding laboratory analogue for Internal Hex 2.43 implants to the transfer embedded within the impression.
7. The resulting assembly (“impression + transfer + analogue”) is transferred to the dental laboratory.
8. The dental technician fabricates gingival imitation material around the implant area and pours the impression using dental stone.
9. After separation of the impression from the model, the implant analogue remains positioned within the cast, accurately reproducing the intraoral implant position.
10. The resulting master model is used for fabrication of the implant-supported prosthetic restoration.

Sterilization

- Single use recommended.
- The product is supplied non-sterile and must be sterilized before use in an autoclave at: 135°C / 274°F

Store in a clean, dry environment at room temperature away from direct sunlight and contamination.
