Plastic Sheath for Esthetic Multi-Unit
The Plastic Sheath for Esthetic Multi-Unit is a precision prosthetic laboratory component designed for the fabrication of screw-retained permanent restorations on titanium esthetic multi-unit abutments.
The sheath is compatible with esthetic multi-unit abutments (Ref. 610520, 610537, etc.) and is designed without an anti-rotation feature, allowing passive positioning during prosthetic fabrication procedures. It connects directly to the esthetic multi-unit using titanium screw 701200 (M1.6 UNF).
Manufactured from high-quality Delrin® plastic, the sheath provides excellent dimensional stability, machinability, and reliability for dental laboratory applications involving implant-supported restorations.
The component is intended for use in dental laboratory workflows for the fabrication of screw-retained permanent prosthetic restorations on osseointegrated implants.

Instructions for Laboratory Use
1. Preparation
- Verify compatibility of all prosthetic components before use.
- Clean and inspect all components prior to laboratory procedures.
2. Placement of the Plastic Sheath
- Position the Plastic Sheath onto the esthetic multi-unit abutment (Ref. 610520, 610537, etc.).
- Ensure proper seating and stable positioning.
3. Prosthetic Fabrication
- Fabricate the screw-retained prosthetic structure according to standard laboratory procedures.
- Verify prosthetic alignment and fit during fabrication.
4. Prosthetic Fixation
- Secure the prosthetic restoration using titanium fixation screw 701200 (M1.6 UNF).
- Tighten using a 1.25 mm hex driver according to standard prosthetic protocols.
Cleaning and Sterilization
- Before use, cold sterilization is required using: Antimicrobial sterilization solutions, or 70% ethyl alcohol
- Follow validated cleaning and disinfection procedures according to local regulations and clinical protocols.
Storage
- Store in a clean and dry environment.
- Protect from contamination, moisture, and mechanical damage.
- Avoid exposure to excessive heat or chemicals.
