Product Description

The Basic Surgical Set is a universal implant surgical kit intended for preparation of the implant bone bed and installation of dental implants and implant superstructures.

The set contains surgical drills, implant drivers, screwdrivers, ratchet instruments, depth gauges, drill extensions, and auxiliary surgical instruments required for implant surgery.

The instruments are manufactured from high-quality medical-grade stainless steel and are designed for repeated surgical use after proper sterilization.

The set is compatible with implant systems featuring:

- Internal Hex H2.43 mm connection
- Internal Hex H2.1 mm connection
- Internal Conical CH2.43 mm connection
- Internal Conical CH2.1 mm connection
- SOLO one-piece implant systems

Warnings

- All instruments are supplied non-sterile.
- Sterilization before clinical use is mandatory.
- Autoclave sterilization at 135°C (275°F) is recommended.
- Only trained dental professionals familiar with implant surgical protocols should use the system.
- Excessive force or improper use may damage instruments or surrounding tissues.
- Instruments must be inspected before each use for wear or damage.

Procedure for Use

Surgical Protocol

Step 1 – Preparation
               Sterilize all instruments before use.
               Prepare the surgical field according to standard implantology protocols.
Step 2 – Marking the Implant Position
               Use the Marking Surgical Drill 1.9 mm (403419) to identify the implant position.
Step 3 – Sequential Osteotomy Preparation
               Prepare the implant osteotomy progressively using the surgical drills:
              - 2.0 mm Drill (401720)
              - 2.8 mm Drill (401728)
              - 3.2 mm Drill (401732)
              - 3.65 mm Drill (401737)
              - 4.2 mm Drill (401742)
              - 5.2 mm Drill (401752)
              Select the final drill diameter according to the implant diameter and clinical protocol.
Step 4 – Countersinking
               Use countersink drills when necessary:
              - 400742 for Slim implants 3.75–4.2 mm
              - 400759 for implants 5.0–6.0 mm
Step 5 – Depth and Parallelism Control
               Use the Implant Depth Probe (450001) to verify osteotomy depth.
               Use the Parallel/Depth Guides (451030, 451630) to evaluate implant angulation and parallelism.
Step 6 – Implant Placement
               Use the appropriate implant driver or motor key:
               - 431825
               - 431821
               - 430121
               - 430025
               - 430012
               Implant insertion may be performed manually with the Ratchet Wrench (446301) or mechanically with a contra-angle handpiece.
Step 7 – Additional Components
               Use the Drill Extension (401701) when additional instrument length is required.
               Use the Adaptor for Vector Implants Long (432121) for compatible implant systems.
Step 8 – Final Verification
               Verify implant position, depth, and stability according to the surgical protocol.

Sterilization

All instruments must be sterilized before use in an autoclave at: 135°C (275°F)

After sterilization:

Store instruments in sterile conditions.
Inspect instruments before each surgical procedure.

Storage

Store the surgical set in a clean, dry environment away from contamination, humidity, and direct sunlight.
