Intended Use
The Nylon Impression Cap for Locator Abutment (651038, etc.) is intended for use in dental prosthetics to:
- Facilitate accurate impression-taking of locator abutments
- Transfer the position and angulation of implants to a laboratory model
- Support fabrication of removable implant-supported restorations
Indications
- Use with locator abutments (651038, etc.)
- Impression procedures for implant-supported prosthetics
- Use in conjunction with impression transfer locator (661809)
- Fabrication of removable dentures and overdentures
Contraindications
- Do not use if the component is damaged or deformed
- Not intended for use outside of locator-based systems
Preparation Before Use
- Supplied non-sterile
- Must be cleaned and disinfected before use
- Perform cold sterilization using antimicrobial solutions or 70% ethanol
- Inspect for damage, deformation, or contamination prior to use
Clinical Procedure
- Ensure the locator abutment (651038, etc.) is properly installed and stable
