Product Description

The Closed Clip Transfer for Implant Hex 2.1 Slim Platform is a precision impression component intended for closed tray implant impression procedures.

The transfer is fixed directly into the internal implant connection without the use of a fixation screw. Stable positioning is achieved through a retention clip integrated into the transfer body.

The transfer consists of:

- Cylindrical transfer body
- Internal hexagon connection 2.1 mm
- Retention clip mechanism

The transfer hexagon engages the implant connection with a locking effect, while the retention clip secures the transfer inside the implant through mechanical retention.

Manufactured from high-quality stainless steel for reliable dimensional accuracy and clinical durability.

- UNIQUE Implant: 3.0 mm, 3.3 mm
- PERFECT Implant: 3.75 mm

Warnings

- The transfer is intended for single use only.
- The product is supplied non-sterile.
- Sterilization before clinical use is mandatory.
- Recommended sterilization method: autoclave sterilization at 135°C / 274°F.
- The clinician must be properly trained in implant impression techniques and use of the transfer system.
- Use only compatible implant systems and prosthetic components.

Precautions

Instructions for Clinical Use

1. Preparation
  - Remove the gingival former using a 1.27 mm hex driver.
  - Clean and dry the implant connection area.
2. Placement of the Transfer
  - Insert the Closed Clip Transfer (Ref. 901635) vertically into the implant internal hex connection.
  - Ensure the 2.1 mm hex engages fully within the implant.
  - The retention clip secures the transfer inside the implant through mechanical retention.
3. Impression Procedure
  - Perform the impression using the closed tray “sandwich” technique (two-layer impression method).
Apply:
  - Low-viscosity impression material internally
  - High-viscosity impression material externally
  - Both materials may be inserted simultaneously.
  - Medium-viscosity impression material may also be used if clinically indicated.
4. Removal of the Impression
  - After polymerization of the impression material, remove the impression from the oral cavity together with the transfer.
5. Laboratory Procedure
  - Attach the laboratory analogue for Internal Hex 2.1 implant connection (Ref. 920035, etc.) to the transfer within the impression.
The resulting assembly consists of:
  - Impression
  - Transfer
  - Implant analogue
  - Send the completed assembly to the dental laboratory.
6. Model Fabrication
  - The dental technician applies gingival mask material around the implant area.
  - The impression is poured using dental stone (super plaster).
  - After setting, the impression and transfer are separated from the model.
  - The implant analogue remains embedded within the model for prosthetic fabrication.

Cleaning and Sterilization

The product must be sterilized before clinical use.

- Sterilization Parameters
- Autoclave sterilization
- Temperature: 135°C / 274°F

Follow validated sterilization procedures according to local regulations and clinical protocols.
