Product Description
The Titanium Slim Healing Cap for Abutment is a precision-engineered temporary prosthetic component designed to protect the abutment and facilitate soft tissue healing following implant placement and abutment installation. The healing cap assists in the formation of a stable gingival cuff around the implant restoration site, promoting optimal soft tissue contour and emergence profile development.
Manufactured from high-quality Ti6Al4V medical titanium alloy ASTM F136, the healing cap provides excellent biocompatibility, corrosion resistance, mechanical strength, and long-term clinical reliability.
The component is designed for use with Multi-Unit Abutments (610537, etc.) and is installed onto the abutment to protect the prosthetic connection during the healing phase while supporting gingival tissue shaping.
The smooth polished outer surface minimizes plaque accumulation and promotes healthy soft tissue adaptation during the healing process.
The Titanium Slim Healing Cap may be used in:
- One-stage implant procedures, where it is installed immediately following placement of the implant and abutment (610520, etc.)
- Two-stage implant procedures, during installation of the abutment (610520, etc.) on a fully osseointegrated implant
The healing cap is secured to the abutment using a titanium fixation screw with M1.6 thread (701200) and is installed using a 1.25 mm hex driver.
Suitable for:
- Soft tissue healing
- Gingival cuff formation
- Multi-unit prosthetic restorations
- One-stage implant procedures
- Two-stage implant procedures
- Implant prosthetic rehabilitation
- Oral implantology applications

The healing cap is designed for use with Multi-Unit Abutments (610537, etc.) and compatible abutments (610520, etc.) during implant restorative procedures.
Indications
The Titanium Slim Healing Cap is indicated for:
- Soft tissue healing around dental implants
- Gingival cuff formation
- Emergence profile development
- Protection of the abutment connection during healing
- One-stage implant procedures
- Two-stage implant procedures
- Multi-unit prosthetic restorations
Compatible Components
- Multi-Unit Abutment (610537, etc.)
- Abutment (610520, etc.)
- Titanium Fixation Screw M1.6 (701200)
- 1.25 mm Hex Driver
Clinical Use
One-Stage Implant Procedure
1. Place the dental implant according to the surgical protocol.
2. Install the compatible abutment (610520, etc.).
3. Position the Titanium Slim Healing Cap onto the abutment.
4. Insert the titanium fixation screw M1.6 (701200).
5. Tighten the fixation screw using a 1.25 mm hex key.
6. Verify complete seating and stability of the healing cap.
7. Suture the soft tissue as required.
The healing cap remains in place during the soft tissue healing period.
Two-Stage Implant Procedure
1. Following successful osseointegration, expose the implant surgically.
2. Remove the cover screw according to the implant protocol.
3. Install the compatible abutment (610520, etc.).
4. Position the Titanium Slim Healing Cap onto the abutment.
5. Secure the healing cap using the titanium fixation screw M1.6 (701200).
6. Tighten the screw with a 1.25 mm hex driver.
7. Confirm proper seating and soft tissue adaptation.
The healing cap remains in place until the final prosthetic restoration is initiated.
Removal Procedure
- Remove the fixation screw using a 1.25 mm hex key.
- Carefully remove the healing cap from the abutment.
- Proceed with impression taking or prosthetic restoration according to the treatment plan.
