Product Description
The Titanium Healing Cap for Abutment is a precision prosthetic component designed for temporary soft tissue management and gingival contour formation around implant-supported restorations.
The healing cap is intended to cover the multi-unit abutment (Ref. 610548, etc.) installed on a dental implant, promoting the formation of a stable gingival cuff during the healing phase of implant treatment. The smooth outer surface supports soft tissue healing and helps maintain optimal peri-implant tissue contours.
Manufactured from medical-grade titanium alloy Ti6Al4V ASTM F136, the healing cap provides excellent biocompatibility, corrosion resistance, mechanical strength, and long-term dimensional stability for implant prosthetic applications.
The component is fixed to the abutment using a titanium screw with M2 thread (Ref. 700229) and is compatible with a 1.25 mm hex driver.

Instructions for Clinical Use
1. Preparation
- Verify compatibility of the implant, abutment, and healing cap.
- Clean and dry the implant-abutment connection area before placement.
2. Placement of the Healing Cap
- Position the Titanium Healing Cap onto the multi-unit abutment (Ref. 610548, etc.).
- Secure the healing cap using titanium screw M2 (700229).
- Tighten using a 1.25 mm hex driver according to standard clinical protocols.
3. Clinical Application
For one-stage implantation:
- Install the healing cap immediately after implant and abutment placement.
For two-stage implantation:
- Install the healing cap during second-stage surgery after implant osseointegration.
4. Healing Phase
- Monitor soft tissue healing and gingival contour formation during follow-up visits.
- Remove the healing cap when prosthetic restoration procedures are initiated.
