Intended Use

The Titanium Base for Screw Standard Slim Connector is intended for the fabrication and fixation of custom screw-retained zirconia crowns and bridge restorations on osseointegrated implants restored with Standard Slim Connector Abutments Ø4.0 mm (603020, etc.).

The component serves as a prosthetic interface between the restoration and the connector abutment, providing stable support for long-term implant-supported prosthetic rehabilitation.

The titanium base is designed for permanent screw-retained restorations and is suitable for single-unit crowns, multi-unit restorations, and implant-supported bridge restorations.

Laboratory Procedure

Restoration Fabrication

1. Verify compatibility of the Titanium Base with the Standard Connector Abutment Ø4.0 mm (603020, etc.).
2. Inspect the component for cleanliness and integrity.
3. Design the custom zirconia crown or bridge according to the treatment plan.
4. Fabricate the restoration using conventional laboratory techniques or CAD/CAM technology.
5. Bond or secure the zirconia restoration to the titanium base according to the selected restorative protocol.
6. Verify passive fit and proper prosthetic alignment before delivery.

Clinical Procedure

Titanium Base Installation

1. Confirm successful osseointegration of the supporting implant(s).
2. Verify that the Standard Connector Abutment Ø4.0 mm (603020, etc.) is properly installed and secured.
3. Clean and inspect the abutment connection.
4. Position the Titanium Base onto the Standard Connector Abutment.
5. Verify complete seating of the titanium base.

Restoration Fixation

1. Seat the completed zirconia crown or bridge restoration.
2. Insert the Titanium Screw 1-72 UNF (700249).
3. Tighten the screw using a 1.25 mm Allen key according to the recommended prosthetic torque protocol.
4. Verify complete seating and stability of the restoration.
5. Check occlusion and adjust if necessary.
6. Seal the screw access channel according to standard restorative procedures.

Final Restoration Verification

Before completion of treatment:

1. Verify passive fit of the restoration.
2. Confirm complete seating of the titanium base.
3. Check restoration stability.
4. Verify proper occlusal contacts.
5. Confirm esthetics and soft tissue adaptation.

Removal Procedure

1. Remove restorative material from the screw access channel.
2. Loosen the Titanium Screw 1-72 UNF (700249) using a 1.25 mm Allen key.
3. Remove the restoration carefully.
4. Inspect the titanium base, abutment, and screw before reuse or replacement.

Cleaning and Sterilization

- Remove all contaminants and manufacturing residues.
- Clean using approved medical device cleaning procedures.
- Rinse thoroughly with distilled or deionized water.
- Dry completely before sterilization.
- Sterilize before use in a steam autoclave at: 135°C (274°F)
- Follow validated sterilization procedures and local regulatory requirements.
