The Plastic Abutment Titanium Base for Implant H2.43 is a castable prosthetic component designed for the fabrication of custom cement-retained and screw-retained implant restorations. Combining a precision-machined titanium base with a castable plastic sheath, this two-piece abutment provides an ideal solution for creating highly customized implant-supported prostheses while maintaining a precise and stable implant connection.
The component consists of a titanium hex base with a 2.43 mm connection and an integrated anti-rotation element, manufactured from medical-grade Ti6Al4V titanium alloy in accordance with ASTM F136 standards. The castable plastic sheath is manufactured from high-quality Delrin® (acetal resin) and is designed for conventional laboratory casting procedures.

Intended Use

Contraindications

Instructions for Use
Laboratory Procedure
1. Verify compatibility of the abutment with the selected implant system.
2. Assemble the plastic sheath onto the titanium base.
3. Attach the assembled abutment to the implant analog or implant using titanium screw 701203.
4. Verify complete seating and proper engagement of the anti-rotation feature.
5. Modify the plastic sheath as required to achieve the desired restoration design.
6. Complete waxing, investing, and casting procedures according to standard laboratory protocols.
7. Finish and polish the fabricated custom abutment.
8. Inspect the final restoration for fit, accuracy, and structural integrity before clinical use.
Clinical Procedure
1. Verify the fit of the fabricated custom abutment and restoration.
2. Connect the definitive abutment to the implant according to the implant system protocol.
3. Seat the restoration and verify occlusion, stability, and soft tissue adaptation.
4. For cement-retained restorations, remove all excess cement.
5. For screw-retained restorations, tighten the fixation screw according to the implant manufacturer's recommended torque values.
6. Perform routine follow-up examinations according to accepted clinical protocols.
