Healing Abutments
DMi Healing Abutments are precision-manufactured screw-retained titanium components designed for use with compatible dental implants during the soft-tissue healing and conditioning phase of implant treatment.
The Healing Abutment is connected to the implant to protect the internal implant connection while supporting the formation and maintenance of the peri-implant soft-tissue profile before placement of the final prosthetic restoration.
Available in multiple diameters and heights, DMi Healing Abutments allow clinicians to select an appropriate configuration according to implant position, soft-tissue thickness, and individual clinical requirements.
Manufactured from medical-grade Ti6Al4V titanium alloy according to ASTM F136, the abutments feature a smooth external surface designed for contact with the surrounding soft tissue.

Applications
DMi Healing Abutments are intended for use during the healing phase of implant treatment to support soft-tissue contouring around the implant.
They may be used in:
• One-stage implant procedures – The Healing Abutment is connected to the implant at the time of implant placement when clinically indicated.
• Two-stage implant procedures – The Healing Abutment is connected to the osseointegrated implant following implant exposure during the second surgical stage.
The appropriate diameter and height should be selected according to the implant system, implant position, soft-tissue thickness, desired emergence profile, and individual clinical situation.
Sterilization & Handling
The product is supplied non-sterile and must be properly cleaned and sterilized before clinical use. Sterilize by autoclave according to the applicable DMi Instructions for Use. Your current product specification indicates sterilization at 135°C / 274°F.
