Product Description
Masters Surgical Set (MSS) сontains the necessary tools for the surgical implantation stage:
- round bur,
- 6 cylindrical drills,
- 6 cylindrical drills with stopper,
- 2 narrow drills,
- 2 countersink drills,
- 6 keys for implants,
- 3 keys for screws,
- 1 Key for extraction,
- drill extension,
- 4 measuring pins,
- solid implant adapter,
- navigation kit,
- implant depth sensor and ratchet.
Designed for preparing the implant bone bed and installing all types of implants (length from 5 to 18 mm and diameter from 2.4 to 6.0 mm).
Surgical kits with instruments require careful treatment with a solution of hydrogen peroxide, then in soap and disinfectant solutions in ultrasonics.
The final rinsing is carried out in distilled or deionized water.
Next, sterilization is carried out using the steam method. Before sterilization, check that all drill bits are sharp!
On average, it is recommended to perform from 30 to 50 bone drills for implants with one drill.
The use of dull drills leads to increased drilling time, overheating of the bone, the appearance of a large number of dead bone cells, large post-operative swelling, severe pain and implant failure. Sterilizing agent – steam saturated with water under excess pressure of 0.05 MPa (0.5 kgf/cm2) – 0.21 MPa (2.1 kgf/cm2) (1.1-2.0 bar) with a temperature of 135°C/274°F.
The sterilization process takes place in sterilizers (autoclaves). A full cycle ranges from 15 to 180 minutes.
